Serves as senior strategic advisor to the Army Science Board (ASB) leadership, managing team of program analysts, designers and technical writers supporting all aspects of Army Science Board operations and events. Abraham LLC experts prepare and deliver senior leader decision and information briefings and reports on matters relating to ASB operations and interactions with senior Army leadership and OSD as well as findings and recommendations of the Board. Manages all aspects of Army Science Board annual meetings and quarterly plenary sessions at various academic institutions or US Army installations. Oversight of strategic communications, standard operating procedures, charter renewal, and membership nomination and renewal process to maintain compliance with Federal Advisory Committee Act.
Abraham LLC provided experienced and proven contractor personnel to support the ASA(ALT). Onsite contractor support personnel served as the hub for all projects initiated by the ASA(ALT) leadership. Abraham LLC contract support served as the primary action officer working directly with the Chief of Staff. Drafted Congressional correspondence, reports, and conducted multiple other high-profile tasks in direct support of the ASA(ALT leadership. As the central tasking and correspondence hub, Abraham LLC’s onsite contractors provided tracking, editing, and processing for internal and external initiatives, major ASA(ALT) engagements, gauging criticality, equities, and possible ramifications, and providing recommendations on discrete and specific follow-on tasks and reporting.
Managed cost, schedule and performance of this high profile executive education program for Army Senior Executives and General Officers. Abraham LLC served as the liaison between top-tier academic institutions and faculty and senior Army leaders to develop custom curriculum and program of instruction. Key business elements were to develop, negotiate and acquire a superior executive education for newly promoted senior executives, mid-career executives, and an advanced course led by the Secretary of the Army and the nation’s leading partners from academia and industry. Annually, over 100 senior executives attended the course and returned to their leadership roles to share and implement their experience at the Department of the Army.
Designed, managed, and facilitated in-depth mission analysis of all of the Army’s manpower funding lines with an annual value of $70B. Manpower funding involves the entire Human Resource (HR) life-cycle including pay, benefits, incentives, subsistence and more than 200 information technology systems that support HR. Abraham LLC analysis realized $50 billion in cost avoidance and an additional $942 million in cost savings for Fiscal Years 14-18. Abraham LLC worked closely with the Secretariat and Technical Business Architecture Integration group in G-1 to collaboratively arrive at cost efficiencies. The report announcing these remarkable efficiencies was developed for the Secretary of the Army, The Honorable John McHugh.
Abraham, LLC provided advisory and analytical support services to Army senior leaders at HQDA. Abraham LLC consultants applied proven business principles, business management advisory services in a variety of functional areas that corresponded to core mission areas of the Army. Abraham LLC developed 18 Army Senior Leader Development Course Presentations, 10 Army Force Management School presentations, 40 Senior Secretariat and military on-boarding briefings, prepared over 30 senior leader briefings, authored the Army’s Business Transformation Plan delivered to Congress. Conceived and authored the IMS section of the Army’s Business Transformation Plan in 2010 and 2011 signed by the Secretary of the Army. Conducted analysis and provided multiple recommendations to GEN George Casey for widespread changes to the governance processes, roles and authorities for General Order – 03 re-write to be published in 2012.
The effort to support the Enterprise Task Force and Office of Business Transformation required an ability to perform flawlessly at the highest echelons of the Department of the Army. Abraham LLC served as the longest incumbent contractor for these organizations – winning every re-compete effort and earning the trust of senior leaders and colleagues alike. Established Organizational Alignment between Army Staff and Secretariat. Designed and managed the process for convening the Army Enterprise Board (4-star GOs & Army Secretariat) and HQDA off-sites to achieve cross-functional synchronization on high priority topics.
